SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
The festival will kick off Friday evening with a welcome mixer before a screening of an exciting South Dakota debut of Lost on a Mountain in Maine (2024, dir. Andrew Boodhoo Kightlinger). An opening reception will follow. Short-film blocks and panels will run all day Saturday, capping off with a screening of Frogman (2023, dir. Anthony Cousins) and after party. Sunday we’ll offer a free public screening of Power of Possibility: The Impact of Public Art in South Dakota Communities and encores of our short-film blocks.
As a two-screen (twin!) theater, we’ve booked content for both sides throughout the weekend. Choose your festival adventure wisely to make sure you get in the workshops and film blocks you want to. Short-film blocks will play twice, so if you can’t make a block one day you can pick it up the other.
